SLA

What is meant by that?

WHAT IS SLA?

In the SLA process (Stereolithography), liquid resins are used for printing, which harden when exposed to UV light.

ADVANTAGES OVER FFF/FDM PRINTING

SLA printing allows for the creation of high-resolution models, as the maximum layer height is 0.01mm. This is perfect for intricate and detailed figures.

WHAT TYPES OF RESIN ARE THERE?

Our company primarily works with transparent resins, which can be polished if needed to achieve a glass-like effect.

However, there are also colored resins with special properties, such as increased flexibility. Additionally, ceramic or metal powder can be mixed with the resin and used as dental replacements after sintering.

TOLERANCES

The tolerances in the SLA process range from ± 0.05 to 0.1 mm, depending on the resolution.
